Function of Committee
The mandate of the Committee shall include the following:-

(a) Plans, policies, bills and measures connected with the public service and planning for human resource development.

(b) Overseeing policies of work, recruitment, training, wage systems, social insurance and pension schemes;

(c) Inquiring into labor disputes in both the public and private sectors and make reports to the Assembly;

(d) Scrutinize policies on appointments promotions, dismissals and other terms and conditions of service in both the public and private sector;

(e) Any other matters related to public administration which may be assigned to the Committee by the Speaker or the Assembly
